Reset Microsoft Teams If Startup Hangs

Periodically Microsoft Teams will hang on the loading screen. This seems to happen to me if I log out of one Microsoft account and then try to log in with another. Here is how to fix this.

Clear the Teams Cache

• Close Microsoft Teams. You may need to kill the process via Task Manager since the process is hung.
• Open File Explorer, and enter %appdata%\Microsoft in the address bar.
• Delete the entire Teams folder located there. This will clear the Teams cache.
• Teams will now start normally.
